Two and four anchorage points
Two-point belts are indispensable for symmetrical positioning, helping to contain pelvic anteversion. The 4-point belts, thanks to the two additional anchoring straps, prevent the pelvic belt from sliding upwards, providing an effective response where pelvic anteversion is to be limited. An abduction belt is also available.
Features
2-point belts: suitable for hypotonic patients (anchorage between 45° and 90°). 4-point belts: the secondary (smaller) belts have the function of stabilising and holding the primary (larger) belts in place to prevent them from sliding towards the abdomen or losing their correct position. This is a more incisive containment, for patients with many dystonias, spasms, uncontrolled movements, or for cases of pelvic rotation and pelvic obliquity.
Buckles
The buckle is made of plastic or metal. Several sizes are available. The angles of attachment to the wheelchair have a direct effect on the angle of traction at pelvic level.
